The Autel Energy Management System (EMS) offers four operating modes for optimal energy management of EV charging stations.
DLB Mode (Dynamic Load Balancing)
Maximizes charging power while keeping total power consumption within a defined range. Ideal for sites with limited grid connection.
ALM Mode (Adaptive Load Management)
Manages both charging power and other loads simultaneously using an external energy meter. Ensures stable operation of the entire site.
PV Hybrid Mode
Integrates solar energy with charging. Three sub-modes: Full Green (solar only), Green Priority (solar preferred, grid as backup), Speed Priority (solar + grid for maximum speed).
EMS Mode
Third-party control – the charger accepts commands from an external EMS system for advanced control scenarios.
The system supports up to 40 secondary chargers per circuit and up to 200 chargers in multi-circuit configurations. Connected via Wi-SUN, Wi-Fi, or Ethernet.
