## SmartBox Kit — Intelligent Energy Management
SmartBox Kit
is Autel Energy's complete solution for local power management of charging infrastructure. The kit consists of three components: SmartBox (controller unit), SmartSensor (measuring unit with CT/Rogowski), and current transformers (CT clamps or Rogowski coils).
### How It Works
1. SmartSensor measures current from the grid, photovoltaic, or generator using CT clamps or Rogowski coils 2. Data is sent to the SmartBox via RJ12 cable 3. SmartBox as the master device manages charger power via Wi-Fi, Ethernet, or Wi-SUN 4. The entire system communicates with CPMS (Cloud Power Management System) via 4G/Wi-Fi
### Two Control Modes
DLB (Dynamic Load Balancing)
Maximizes charging power by distributing available capacity among all chargers. System power stays within a safe range — fast charging without overloading.
ALM (Adaptive Load Management)
Manages charging power alongside other building loads. Using an external energy meter, it monitors total load and dynamically adjusts charging — the main breaker never trips.

### PV and BESS Compatibility
SmartSensor can measure not only grid current, but also output from photovoltaic panels, battery storage systems, or diesel generators. This enables PV Hybrid mode — charging from solar surplus with automatic grid fallback.
